    How JetWell Vets Clinics

Every clinic on JetWell is reviewed and approved by JetWell before it can take a patient. This page explains what we check, how we check it, and what we keep watching after a clinic is approved.

What the JetWell Verified pill means

Some clinics carry a JetWell Verified pill, which you see on a clinic's card once it accepts your case. It means JetWell checked three documents supplied by the clinic and confirmed each one is current for a procedure category the clinic offers.

Facility licence. The licence that permits the facility to operate in its country.
Physician specialty credential. A specialty credential held by a physician for the procedure category.
Facility safety certificate. A certificate covering the facility's safety standards.

The pill is a statement about documents, not about results. It is not a rating, a prediction of your outcome, or a judgement of surgical quality. Document contents, filenames and issuing bodies are never shown to patients.

The pill is recalculated automatically. If a document lapses, the pill comes off. Clinics without the pill may still be part of the JetWell network and may still be a strong fit for you. The pill only tells you which document checks are on file today.

    What We Check

Clinics supply their documents and JetWell reviews them. Not every clinic has every document on file, which is why the JetWell Verified pill shows patients which clinics have the core checks current. JetCover by GPS℠ is available for eligible procedures.

What We CheckWhat It IsWhy It MattersHow
License to operateThe facility's operating license from its country's health authority, such as Türkiye's Ministry of Health international patient license or Singapore's MOH licenseA licensed facility is the legal baseline for treating patients from abroadThe clinic uploads it; JetWell reviews it and records when it expires
AccreditationAccreditations the clinic holds: international ones such as JCI, TEMOS or ISO 9001, or its country's own, such as NABH in India or KOIHA in KoreaAn outside body has assessed the facility against published standardsReviewed the same way and tracked to its renewal date
Specialist credentialsA specialty credential for each procedure the clinic offers, such as specialty board certification or membership of a specialty society (ISHRS for hair restoration, ISAPS for cosmetic surgery, ESHRE for fertility)It shows the doctor is trained in the specialty you are bookingReviewed per procedure and tracked to its renewal date
Facility safetyA facility inspection or safety compliance certificate issued by an outside bodySomeone other than the clinic has checked the facility's safety standardsReviewed and tracked to its renewal date
Response timesHow quickly the clinic answers patients and case offers on JetWellSlow replies before a trip tend to mean slow replies after itMeasured from the clinic's own replies; clinics that answer their requests are offered cases ahead of clinics that leave them unanswered
AgreementsJetWell's Provider Participation Agreement, Code of Conduct and Commercial TermsThey bind the clinic to JetWell's rules on pricing, conduct and how it treats patientsAccepted before the clinic can take a JetWell patient, and again when they change materially

    The Process: Step by Step

How long it takes depends mostly on the clinic: how quickly it supplies its documents, accepts the agreements and completes its rate card.

    Step 1: Research

JetWell's team researches a clinic, using Clinic Compass, its research tool, before inviting it to join.

    Step 2: Documents

JetWell asks each clinic for its licenses, accreditations and specialist credentials, reviews each document the clinic uploads, records the review, and tracks its expiry date. The JetWell Verified pill shows which clinics have the core checks current today.

    Step 3: Agreements

Before it can take a JetWell patient, the clinic accepts JetWell's Provider Participation Agreement, Code of Conduct and Commercial Terms. Material changes to those terms have to be accepted again.

Step 4: Approval, one procedure at a time

JetWell opens a clinic for each procedure separately, once it has accepted the terms and JetWell has reviewed and approved its rate card. A clinic in a country under US sanctions is never approved.

    After Approval

Approval is not the end of it. Three things keep running for every clinic on JetWell.

    Document expiry

Every document is tracked to its expiry date. JetWell reminds the clinic before one lapses, and when it does, the JetWell Verified pill comes off.

    Response times

JetWell measures how quickly each clinic answers patients and case offers. Clinics that answer their requests are offered cases ahead of clinics that leave them unanswered.

    Unanswered messages

If a clinic hasn't answered a patient's message within 24 hours, JetWell's care team is alerted to follow up.

    What Every Clinic Must Do

The first three are checked before a clinic can take a patient. The last two are rules in the agreements every clinic accepts.

Accept JetWell's Provider Participation Agreement, Code of Conduct and Commercial Terms, and accept material changes to them again
Have a rate card for each procedure that JetWell has reviewed and approved
Not be located in a country under US sanctions
Charge the patient nothing beyond the balance JetWell quoted: no card fees and no added charges at the desk
Never promise guaranteed results, or imply certification or endorsement by JetWell

    How This Protects Patients

The first layer is the checks above: every clinic is researched, reviewed and approved before it can take a patient, and its documents and response times stay under watch afterwards.

The second layer is operational: JetWell's care team follows each booking from the first message to follow-up, and is alerted if a clinic hasn't answered a patient's message within 24 hours. If issues arise, the care team coordinates with the clinic's designated patient coordination team.

The third layer is financial: JetCover by GPS℠, complication insurance, is available for eligible procedures, providing cover for complications from your procedure, including additional medical or surgical treatment.

    Frequently Asked Questions

JetWell researches each clinic before inviting it, reviews the licenses, accreditations and specialist credentials it supplies, and approves it one procedure at a time, once it has accepted JetWell's provider agreements and JetWell has approved its rate card. A clinic in a country under US sanctions is never approved.

Yes. JetWell can close a clinic's procedures or remove it from the network. Its documents are tracked to their expiry dates, and the JetWell Verified pill comes off when one lapses.

No. Clinics cannot pay to be listed on JetWell or to change how they are matched with patients. JetWell earns its revenue from completed bookings, not from listing fees.

International accreditations such as JCI, TEMOS and ISO 9001, country-specific ones such as NABH in India, KOIHA in Korea and HA in Thailand, and specialty-society credentials such as ISHRS for hair restoration. Not every clinic holds an international accreditation; the JetWell Verified pill shows which document checks a clinic has on file today.

Many platforms work like directories, where clinics pay to be listed. On JetWell, clinics cannot pay to be listed, each one is reviewed and approved before it can take a patient, and JetCover by GPS℠, complication insurance from Optimum Global Insurance Company Limited, is available for eligible procedures.
